STL Files
All the nameplates are provided as STL files so that you can use them easily in your slicer
WARG’NAME came with the dissatisfaction of not being able to find nice nameplates at a decent price.
They were either too pricy, or not as fancy as we expected.
Also you had to buy them one by one, and there was never an option to get the STLs to print them by ourselves.
We were so disappointed that we did what people with a lot of free time do : we made our own.
Nameplates are little plates that can be flat or curved, made of resin, that you put in front of your miniature base. they are mostly the same height or a little more than the base, and if done well, they follow the base perfectly.
The size of the nameplate is mostly separated between those : a little less than 90° of the base, a little more than 90° of the base, almost 180° or a full ring.
We decided to base our standard nameplates on 135°size. Then you have enough place to put some text on it and some FUN decoration.
One particularity of Warg’Name, is that we have some nameplate styles with an extra line of text to show any team name. We were the first to offer it.
Like this your nameplates are even more personal than ever.
Totally! When you buy our nameplates, you get the file for a lifetime and you can print them as many time as you want, for personal use. We also have some physical resellers license, for those who want to add them to their shop.
We recommend that you buy a resin printer. There are established brands, a lot bringing affordable machines : anycubic, elegoo, longer, phrozen… We tested our nameplates to be printed on 0.035mm on a Phrozen sonic mini 4K with anycubic transparent resin (the one we found to have the best properties).
Our Nameplates are not really suitable for FDM printers, because the loss of quality is too high.

Sometimes, our nameplates are not presupported. Don’t worry! we explain in a really easy way how to do it by yourself!
Well a little guide can never hurt, and this one was done by a dummy painter (myself). So you don’t have to worry about it 🙂
For some nameplates, we provide the prusa slicer file with presupport for all the nameplates. Easy to use. You can then copy what you want, organize, export, and throw it to your slicer!
Payment is done through paypal, so you don’t have to worry if any problem occurs.
